"Mom, come on. It's almost 7:00, I have to go!" "Ok, ok, all done." Scott walked into the living room to meet up with his brother and sister. "Hey look, it's a dirty little hobo" called Doug. "Why don't you put that wolf mask down, quite an improvement!" "All right you two, we already wasted enough time. Let's get to trick or treating!" scolded Debbie.
When they got to the first house it was "7:14 already!" "Quite their coming" hushed Debbie. "Trick or treat" they all shouted in a ghostly voice. "Here you go kids!" "Yes, Necco Wafers" Scott shouted with excitement. When they got to the next house, there was a plastic skeleton half buried in the lawn. When they stepped on the hidden mat, it triggered a fake scream. They all jumped. When they got to the door, Debbie and Doug all hid behind Scott. He reached up for the doorbell as fake smoke gushed out from somewhere. DING DONG! "Trick or treat!" THUNK! As they all dropped their candy into their bags.
They hit a couple dozen houses. Each time getting more and more candy. "At last, the last house!" gasped Doug as Debbie and Scott casually walked up the stairs. "Trick or treat!" Then they went home.
When they got there, they all dumped out their candy and started to trade. Scott kept all his Necco Wafers 'cause they are his favorite. Then, he put it in a giant bowl on the top of his closet, and went to bed.
